Exma. Família Olímpica

Reuniu sábado 25 de Abril, no Senegal cidade de Dakar a Comissão Executiva da Associação Africana de Atletas Olímpicos que é liderada pelo Presidente Sr. Amadou Dia Ba (Senegal), e sua equipa que contou com a presença do vice Presidente Sra Gisele Pascale Simangoye ONGOLLO Epse BEKALE (Gabao) no lugar da Sra Odeth, o Secretário Geral Sr. Isaac ANGBO (Costa do Marfim), e os vogais Vénuste NIYONGABO (Burundi), Sr. Kamel OUCHIA da Argélia, bem como com a nossa Presidente da Associação de Atletas Olímpicos de (Angola) a Sra. Nádia Cruz. Esteve ausente o vogal Sr. Robert OUKO (Kénia).

A reunião contou com a presença e honra do Presidente da Associação Mundial de Atletas Olímpicos Sr. Joel Bouzon (França), e Secretário Executivo Sr. Mike Miller (Reino Unido).

A reunião foi maioritariamente liderada pelo Presidente Mundial Sr Joel, com apresentação do relatório das atividades passadas, projetos em curso e futuros para os atletas olímpicos e em qualificação. 

A Comissão Executiva de África a única formalmente existente e em funcionamento a nível de continentes foi convidada a fazer parte das reuniões executivas mundiais que decorreram a cada segunda semana via sistema de comunicação skype.

Os programas e projetos Angolanos (suportes acadêmicos, fisioterapia e saúde , bem como de estomatologia, entre outros em estudo para implementação) foram sobressaídos com satisfação pelo Presidente Mundial e a serem considerados para exemplo a serem implementados nas noutras associações mundiais.

A constituição mundial será emendada na próxima assembleia geral que deverá ocorrer este ano ou após olimpíada do Rio De Janeiro 2016, a fim de que está liderança possa acompanhar os atletas e seu trabalho como de igual modo acontece com as federações e Comitês Olímpicos Nacionais.

A nova constituição tem em proposta a implementação de duas reuniões de Assembleia Geral (num mandato de 4 anos) e também novos postos na direção incluindo a obrigatoriedade de dois postos por continente sendo um de género feminino e outro de género masculino.

Recordamos que a Associação De Atletas Olímpicos de Angola ao abrigo dos estatutos nacionais reúne em Assembleia Geral uma vez por ano.

A semelhança das olimpíadas passadas o Rio de Janeiro 2016 vai ter uma centro de Reunião de Atletas olímpicos de forma a proporcionar a interação e encontros entre os mesmos.

Foi fortemente recomendado e sustentado a comunhão das comunicações, planos, objetivos e ações entre as associações / comissões e os comitês nacionais a fim de que todos os atletas olímpicos possam beneficiar e ser cuidados ao mais alto nível durante a sua carreira e sempre. 

A Associação Mundial prometeu continuar esforços para diligenciar com o Comitê Olímpico Internacional o suporte financeiro das associações a fim de que estas possam ter um suporte básico para suportes dos custos administrativos e de implementação de atividades e projetos e sejam até diretamente suportadas pelos seus Comités Olímpicos Nacionais.

Após três anos de liderança o Presidente Joel conseguiu com o Comité Olímpico Internacional maior reconhecimento, uma cooperação direta e continua, que permite hoje A Associação Mundial estar presente nas reuniões do Comitê Olímpico Internacional bem como a ter dois representantes do Comitê Olímpico Internacional na Associação Mundial. 

O Comitê Olímpico Internacional suporta também os custos da Associação e de seus membros de secretariado o que permite o suporte financeiro da organização e agilização de trabalhos e projetos.

A Associação Africana vai trabalhar agora por zonas sobre os planos de 2015 a fim de se obter melhores resultados e o maior envolvimento das Associações e interligação com os seus comités nacionais.

Angola ofereceu o suporte linguístico da Língua Portuguesa para servir de tradutor nas comunicações até ao Jogos Olímpicos do Rio de Janeiro 2016, por ser uma mais valia ter a associação e site as comunicações traduzidas para português. A proposta foi bem aceite e será estudada pela direção. Também ofereceu o suporte na realização da próxima reunião directiva de Africa e ou Mundial.

A reunião que decorreu durante todo o dia, teve uma pausa para almoço onde os membros desfrutaram da companhia de presidentes de federações, atletas olímpicos e futuros atletas olímpicos, e terminou com um jantar oferecido pelo Presidente do Comitê Olímpico do Senegal Sr.Momadou Ndiaye.

Dear Olympic Family

Gathered Saturday, April 25, in Dakar - Senegal the Executive Committee of the African Association of Olympic Athletes which is led by President Mr. Amadou Dia Ba (Senegal), and his team that was attended by the Vice President Mrs. Pascale Gisele Simangoye ONGOLLO Epse BEKALE (Gabon) in place of Mrs. Odeth, the Secretary General Mr. Isaac ANGBO (Ivory Coast), and the other members Vénuste Niyongabo (Burundi), Mr. Kamel OUCHIA of Algeria, as well as our President of Athletes Association Olympic (Angola) Mrs. Nadia Cruz. Mr. Robert Ouko (Kenya) was absent.
 
The meeting was honor with attendee of the President of the World Association of Olympic Athletes Mr. Joel Bouzon (France), and the Executive Secretary Mr. Mike Miller (UK).

The meeting was mainly led by the World President Mr. Joel, with presentation of the report of past activities, current and future projects for the Olympic athletes and qualification.

The Executive Committee of Africa which formally exist and operation at the level of continents was invited to be part of the global executive meetings which took place every second week on Skype communication system.

The Angola programs and projects (academic support, physiotherapy and health as well as dental, among others under consideration for implementation) were protruding pleased by the World President and they will be considered for example to be implemented in other global associations.

The world constitution will be amended at the next general meeting which is to take place this year or after Olympics from Rio De Janeiro 2016, so that is leadership can track athletes and their work in the same way as happens with the federations and National Olympic Committees.

The new constitution has proposed in the implementation of two General Assembly meetings (on a 4-year term) and also new posts in the direction including a requirement for two positions by continent being a female and the other male gender.

We recall that the Olympic Athletes Association De Angola under the national statutes meets in General Assembly once a year.

The similarity of the Olympics past the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic athletes will have a meeting center to provide interaction and meetings between them.

It was strongly recommended and supported the communion of communications, plans, objectives and actions among associations / committees and the national committees so that all Olympic athletes can benefit from and be maintained at the highest level during his career and always.

The World Association vowed to continue efforts to strive with the International Olympic Committee the financial support of the associations so that they can have a basic support for supporters of the administrative costs and implementation of activities and projects and to be directly supported by their National Olympic Committees.

After three years of leadership President Joel managed with the International Olympic Committee greater recognition, direct cooperation and continues, allowing today The World Association attend the meetings of the International Olympic Committee as well as to have two representatives of the International Olympic Committee at the World Association

The International Olympic Committee also pays for the Association and its secretariat members allowing the financial support of the organization and streamlining of work and projects.

The African Association will work now by Zones on plans 2015 in order to achieve better results and greater involvement of associations and connections to their national comités.

Angola offered the linguistic support of the Portuguese language to serve as a translator in communications to the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016 to be an asset to have the association and site communications translated into Portuguese. The proposal was well received and will be reviewed by direction, as well as a place to held the next executive board for Africa or the World.

The meeting which took place throughout the day, took a break for lunch where members enjoyed the federations presidents company, Olympic athletes and future Olympians, and ended with a dinner hosted by the President of the Olympic Committee of Senegal Sr.Momadou Ndiaye.
